Do it for the Kids Campaign!
Police union gives $1,000 to after-school programs

Mark Jackson of the Police Association presented Jennifer Jones, director of arts and after-school programs, with a donation of $1,000 as part of the "Do it for the Kids" campaign to support 21st Century programs.

The check was presented at the Annual District Arts and After School Showcase. More than 800 children and their families attended the event, which featured art works, projects and performances from the school day and 21st Century after-school programs.

Reingold School after-school staff was also honored for a donation of $320 as part of the "Do it for the Kids" campaign.
