The Fitchburg Public School District has been chosen by the Massachusetts Cultural Council to be one of five districts in the state to receive a grant to engage in an exploration of our arts programming. The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, through the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network (KCAEEN), developed the Community Audit for Arts Education: Better Schools, Better Skills, Better Communities to assist school districts in assessing the status of arts education and to encourage community partnerships to strengthen and expand arts education for all students.
