All Staff Community Art Show! From your Superintendent, Andre Ravenelle
Dear Fitchburg Public School staff members,
Almost two years ago, the district had its first all staff art show at the Johnsonia Gallery. It was a great success with over 25 staff members participating from custodians to coaches! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together and appreciate the many side talents of your colleagues. This event is sponsored by the Fitchburg Public Schools, Clark Straight and the Johnsonia Cultural Series. The event will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010 with a public reception from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The gallery will remain open for visitors on Friday and Saturday.
There is no limit to your artist expression. The previous show included painintg, sculpture, weaving, woodworking, iron work and many more craft and arts media. This year we would like to give opportunities for music, poetry and performing arts. You will have a captivating audience! Spread the word!
